Alignment Assessment
Detailed reporting of predictive and correlative analytics underlying the Dashboard.
Vetting public and private data, we use predictive and correlative analysis to assess firms against a normalized peer universe. This process yields factual data about industry behavior, choices and priorities around controls, culture and business model. Aggregated observations of the firm from internal and external sources round out the assessment. Scoring Elements Chart
Data underlying the Alignment Assessment span both quantitative and qualitative inputs. On the quantitative side, we look at hard metrics that drive resource allocation and outlay. On the qualitative side we gather objective observations from both employees and external parties who see policy in action every day. This combined data approach goes beyond simple peer benchmarking. It shows whether management decisions across Culture, Controls, and Business Model dimensions are actually working.

The GP Alignment Assessment compares firm control programs to Universe norms and stakeholder observations. Overall Alignment scoring and underlying constituent scores are indicative measures. They are meant to focus users on areas for further review and provide a basis for comparison with current management priorities and expectations. High scores indicate Alignment with peers, where firms may find comfort or areas to potentially differentiate. Low scores indicate misalignment with peers and may reflect areas of relative weakness or show where a firm is innovating and therefore ahead of the pack.
